This 2001 Kawasaki W650 is another very nice example of Japan’s interpretation of the quintessential British motorbike. Low miles and obviously very well cared for it’s worth considering if you’ve been waiting for the right one to come along.
The seller, who is the original owner, installed the Kawasaki OEM tail rack and OEM European low handlebar kit. He also installed smaller turn indicators, stainless steel brake lines and custom British chrome pipes after which he rejetted the carbs. Along with the sale he’s including the original parts replaced in the modifications noted, plus a solo Corbin Gunfighter seat, owner’s manual and more.
These bikes are extremely good looking and have developed a devoted following. Though only imported to the States for two years, they were much longer lived elsewhere. For those of us in the northern latitudes, I can envision this as a perfect mount for autumn rides in the country. If you’re looking for some track day weapon, this isn’t it, but if a bike for enjoying the sights and smells of the changing seasons fits into your plans, this might be the one. It’s for sale on eBay.
