The 1962 Dodge Lancer is almost identical to the 62 Plymouth Valiant, a few exterior changes, but essentially the same car. We’ve covered the Valiant before, so when I saw this Lancer, especially one that’s been restored and modified for performance, I had to point it out. It was doing drag duty for years until retired and put back on the street.

The seller has a long list of modifications, from the 360 Mopar V8, 3:90 gears, chrome molly driveshaft, Caltrac rear suspension, racing shocks all around, 20 gallon fuel cell, stainless exhaust described as VERY LOUD and he says it leaves hard and straight running 12s.

The photos show a super clean build and you’ll likely never see another at any cruise in. I think it’s gorgeous, but I have a soft spot for these cars, my brother had one with the slant six, my mom had the Valiant. If you’re a classic Mopar fan, this is for you.
