The Hercules W-2000 was a rotary engine motorcycle equipped with a Sachs, 294cc single rotor, air cooled engine. Unlike the Suzuki RE5, which was water cooled, the Hercules relied on an engine mounted fan up front plus the cooling air from the airflow generated when the bike was in motion. This 1976 model incorporated oil injection lubrication for the engine, while earlier models required oil to be added to the gasoline.

This particular example has only 8550 miles and, according to the seller, is an all original survivor. It appears to be in excellent shape and is also in perfect running order. It has been stored in a temperature controlled environment and ridden occasionally to maintain its condition.
