It’s interesting to compare machinery of all types designed in Europe and the USA. Any train buff can instantly identify locomotives from the continent vs locomotives designed and built in the US, and this tractor, a 1959 Porsche, like the Lamborghini we spotlighted before, has a look all its own. Nothing like this ever rolled off the John Deere assembly line and it’s not just because it isn’t painted green.
This two cylinder diesel was being used for regular farming duties by a family in Germany up through the 1970s and then recently received a complete refresh, as the seller describes it, before it was imported to the USA. New tires, too.
I think the little buddy seat on the left fender is very cool, you could sit your young son or daughter over there and give them a look at the view from up high or you might have your wife or girlfriend up there and share the fun. Afterwards you’ll be singing, “She thinks my tractor’s sexy.”
Currently located in Pennsylvania and selling at no reserve, so someone is going to go home with a pretty sweet machine. Tell your friends you just bought a Porsche and watch their faces when you show up on this.
