Here’s a 1969 BSA A75R Rocket 3 with original paint and low miles. Yes the paint is faded, but it’s a great base for a full restoration and it starts, runs and rides as is. The bike was in storage since 2001, but the seller says with a new battery and gas it fired right up.
Throttle cable needs to be repaired and a few minor fixes are in order, but as it is, you have a complete and running Rocket 3, it even has the original tool roll!
As noted on an earlier listing, there’s a difference of opinion about whether bikes like this should be restored to perfection or ridden as intended, but either way, this BSA gives you a great base to work from, no missing pieces that are impossible to locate, it’s all here.
These unmolested classics are getting hard to find, but this BSA Rocket 3 is for sale on eBay.
