Back in ancient times when two strokes roamed the highways, there was an assortment to choose from in the showrooms of most every manufacturer. The 1968 Suzuki Raider 305 is a good example and this one in particular is about as nice as they come.
It had a nut and bolt restoration, anything worn was replaced with NOS parts, everything that was chrome was re-chromed as well as a few things that hadn't had it to begin with, the engine, carburetors, cables, switches, lights and all electronics were completely restored as well. It was repainted in the factory color, a sort of burnt orange as the seller describes it and as you can see from the photos, if you were in a showroom back in the '60s, it wouldn't have looked any better.
Two strokes put out a lot of power for their displacement, but emission regulations took them off the road and that's too bad because some of them were really nimble and fun with surprising performance. This one would be perfect for someone looking to relive the old days with a bike you don't need to do anything to except ride and perform normal maintenance. It's for sale on eBay.
