This 1936 Harley Davidson EL Knucklehead is a very original example of what many consider the most desirable year of this model and some would go further and claim it’s among the most desirable Harleys, period. The Knucklehead was the first overhead valve engine in the Harley lineup and it first appeared in 1936. The entire design of the bike made the engine look even better and to this day, the flowing style and perfect proportions hold up very well.
The seller states the carb is a later replacement for the original, but everything else seems correct. The cases are original without repairs, a big plus, however, any buyer is strongly urged to ask questions before purchase. Bidding is already brisk and the price is rising quickly.
