It’s easy to get the idea that any collector motorcycle will be too expensive for most of us, but even if you can’t buy a ’36 Knucklehead EL, there are still tens of thousands of wonderful bikes worth considering that are available now and will return your investment if you decide to sell sometime down the road. Take this gorgeous 1973 Honda CB350F for example, judging from the photos it is in excellent condition, it will give you many miles of enjoyable riding, it is just enough out of the ordinary to attract a lot of attention on bike night and when or if you ever decide to sell, you’ll likely get all of your money back and maybe a little more. Sounds like a winner, doesn’t it?
These early Honda inline fours are great bikes, and like the larger displacement CB750 and CB550, they share the styling that made them popular when they were new plus comfortable ergonomics and reliability. Sure, everyone always wants the biggest engine, but this little Honda will let you ride on the weekends at a relaxed pace with a smile on your face. You can spend a little quality time doing regular maintenance, maybe giving it a good wash and polish and then sit back with an adult beverage and admire its well engineered good looks.
Felipe Zapata says
That’s a really pretty bike, and the owner is just asking a hair over $2,000 for it.
Paul Crowe says
That’s the current bid, not asking price.
